E 'happened to all of us. We are going about our business one morning and as you turn on the computer, a blue screen appears not so friendly with a group of computer gibberish Geek speak. What does this mean? Because the computer will not turn on the desktop as it did for the previous three years? Because I do not support my file lately?

A sense of panic enters your thoughts because you have so much information on that computer, not being able to access it scare the heck out of you.

There could be many reasons why your computer does not start, but the most important thing is that you get out of those files. But what can you do? Well, there is a simple series of steps you can follow to try to get the data from the hard drive.

First you need to get the hard drive of that computer. Be sure to follow the safety precautions when opening the case.

Once you have the adapter attached, the old hard drive should appear in "My Computer" on your new computer. Assuming this works, your hard drive will appear in the same way it would appear a jump drive.
