to Valve Regulated Lead (VRLA) batteries are commonly known as sealed lead-acid batteries, and are based on lead-acid rechargeable batteries that require little or no maintenance. A common feature of this type of battery is as the name implies, are always constructed to be a sealed battery with a built in safety valve. If the sealed lead acid battery should ever reversed or any other standing position, the battery is unable to leak and can not escape its electrolyte (battery acid). Furthermore, when the typical lead-acid battery according is recharged at a slight high voltage, it emits gases that may be considered dangerous if emitted in large quantities.
