I love Teamwork - The benefits of creating a great team -

What's all of

What is the work of team? Why is that a team of people able to achieve greater success of an individual who works alone? I'd try to answer these questions with regard to my personal experience.

The teamwork is obviously a topic that many people try to find out more. If you search the Internet for related teamwork resources and a plethora of information turns up for free. team building activities, team sports, team work items and team work motivational quotes that are just a few of the resources readily available to the researcher.

to collect my thoughts I looked back on my experiences and thought the best team I've ever worked with, I contemplated what made this great team and asked questions: Why do we all work so well together? Why are we able to achieve greater than the sum of our individual accomplishments?

E 'made me think about what stops teams to work well, what prevents them from being a team?

What is it that make a great team ?

Here are some dictionary definitions:

Team - "two or more people working together"

Teamwork - "combined action of a team, especially when effective and efficient".

In my analysis, the key words are "working together" and "when effectively and efficiently."

You see those two short sentences describe to me exactly what a great team is all about. I will give another definition of the dictionary before going on:

team spirit - the spirit of a group that makes the members want the group to be successful

I have to fully agree with that definition, there is nothing better than being a member of a great team, in which everyone works together in harmony, their individual skills all harnessed into one focused effort. It 'really very effective, makes you feel that together we can achieve anything. Could probably too !!

Why can a team be more effective one person?

The physical laws would tend to suggest that the overall capacity of a group can be more than the sum of the capacity of the individual member of the team, and may be slightly reduced due to inefficiencies within the grouping. Unfortunately this is often true for many so-called teams, because in truth they are just a group of people who suffer from a lack of motivation and individual egoism, not what I would describe as a team. True teams are empowered to team spirit, the will to act as a member of the group, rather than as an individual. Individuals entitled to the benefit of the team spirit much greater motivation and thus achieve greater success than they would act alone. It follows that a whole group of persons empowered by team spirit will reach the greatest things of all its individuals would be alone.

What motivates people to work as a team ?

I'll never forget my first experience of working with a truly inspired team, it was beautiful! You could actually feel the energy that has generated! I have been a member of a large team of engineers, we were all working together to develop a gasoline injection system. Every member of that team was great! The development engineers have worked enthusiastically for the production of ideas and solutions to address each of the challenges we encountered. Software engineers quickly and accurately implemented those ideas and solutions and turn them into practical, electronic engineering workpieces. Engineers have software systems and really made them work, fettled and tuned them into real-world solutions. Every member of that team was huge talent and every one of us has been driven by the desire to see the team succeed, which we did with bells on!

What de-motivates a team?

I also experienced the frustration of working in a group that simply was not a team. I found out that, even if a group has one or two individuals inspired will still fail if the other members simply relax and bask in the warm glow of inspiration. It led me to think about what stops a member of the group to become a team member or what stops an individual to develop team spirit.

I think that the most important factor is the attitude of the individual themselves. While you can make any group as a team under extreme circumstances, escaping some danger for instance, this effect is only temporary. Long-term teams will work only if all members have the will and the discipline to act as a team, there is little room for selfishness, and there is no room for laziness, these features reduce mutual respect and without individual with respect teams days are numbered. I believe that some members of the group fail to develop team spirit, because to do so requires some personal growth, a willingness to put aside their own needs and be supported by others. A background individuals or psychological makeup can prevent them from taking this important step, they may be capable of with regular exposure to the spirit of full-on team, but some people just never get there.
