essential guide for men - and Pandora Charm Bracelet purchase for the women in your life -

I am a man, a fairly typical one at that, and as such this acquisition is never It has been my strong point. So, after buying my other half of a pair of rubber boots for Christmas last year, I quickly learned the lesson that this was not an option this year, and so had to do some research ahead Christmas 2010 .....

Now, to make it easier for me, after the debacle of Wellington, who had taken me down a number of tips for all year that he would like a charm bracelet . All very nice, but as some of you who have never Googled charm bracelets or attempted to deal with the local jewelry fronted by pushy salesmen field will know, it is a minefield. So I thought I'd give everyone out there the benefit of my extensive research, and (until recently) fairly limited but growing experience.

So, first, you have to negotiate all the different options out there, and there are a lot! Chamilia, Nomination, Truth, Pandora, the list is endless. By far the safest option, and one of the most popular by all accounts, it is Pandora. Danish designers are only retail their products through their own stores or through top-end jewelers selected. Their ranges seem larger than some of the other brands, the quality looks great, and the length of life and longevity of their products is what really swung for me ... a charm bracelet is, after all, it should be to build over a period of time, then you must know that you will be able to add to it for some time to come, and I felt safer than with the Pandora range that I did with all the others.

Another advantage is the range of prices you can buy the charm .... yes, there are charms in gold and diamonds that while stunning , it will set you back hundreds, but when something is all feeling, rather than material value only as these things seem to be, it's nice that friends, children, and almost everyone can contribute; with charms from only £ 25 each.

But what you need? Well go back to my aforementioned fear of jewelry shops, I must say I originally went to one of the stores dedicated Pandora and was witnessed very casual with a lovely assistant who was not at all intrusive, and led me through the process without intimidation and good dose of humor. It 'was the Pandora store in Windermere, Cumbria, and cleverly assistant warned me that what we really need to start with was the bracelet. Now there are some beautiful skin options and limited edition which I think from just £ 30, all the way up to the golden chance for a little over a thousand pounds. Silver or silver with a gold buckle are apparently the most popular, but here is some advice .... if possible, have your lady with you for the sizing of it. My girlfriend slender wrists so the temptation was to get the smallest bracelet but over time has charm about it that would not have been big enough. That said, the stores are great with this, and if the size was wrong, he would be happy to change after the event.

So, once you have your bracelet, what else do you need? Well, there seems to be something "clip" Call of which is useful (though not essential) to have two. These clips spaced equidistant sit in front of the closure and to allow the charm in the early days to sit neatly between them in the upper part of the bracelet. Pandora also recommend this as a way to evenly distribute the weight of the bracelet and I must say that this makes sense. They are priced from £ 25 upwards, depending on the choice of material, and I think they are a must. Moreover, as these things charm bracelet may be bringing a lot of value (both in money and sentimental terms) very quickly, I would also suggest a safety chain. Again, while not completely necessary look very beautiful, and we know that in the unlikely event of slack closing, you have to back up the chain. These start at £ 70, depending on how elaborate you want to be.

Then, of course, there's the charm, and I must admit that I have developed a real addiction to buy these, visit two jewelers after my first purchase, both of which were similarly delightful and helpful and not scary at all; AJ Parkes in Northwich, Cheshire and Condominiums in Lancaster, Lancashire. You can literally get almost anything in any material, with any stone, bringing no feeling. You can also buy it online, but I advise you to check the website Pandora first retailer Recommended Properties to make sure you get the original product as I have heard some horror stories about copying assets.

Another term you may hear is "spacers" - now that my girlfriend has a number of charms in there, sometimes it turns out that there is a little space left that is too small for a charm but it would be well-host one of the spacers of the series - not as elaboarate or extended in terms of selection as the charm, but small and pretty, and with prices starting at around £ 20, are beautiful little charges' storage in themselves.

The icing on the cake is that retailers always offer a gift wrapping service, and all items are available in authentic Pandora box (box and gift wrapped with ribbon bag) and look like you have put a lot of time and effort to purchase it, even if you do not have!

In a rare romantic touch, I have hidden objects throughout the house so that every time the other half visited the airing cupboard, the cupboard utensils etc., would be greeted by a pretty little 'bag with a bow that still contains another beautiful charm .. .. a little twist that took effort, but kept a smile on his face all day long. I believe I have now redeemed me for the start of the disaster next year and can rest easy with the knowledge that Pandora has given me a great gift too .... it is a complete dream for guys like me who are actually offered the ease of be able to give thoughtful, romantic, inappropriate gifts at Christmas, birthdays, Valentine's Day, anniversaries for years to come .... brownie points galore!

so I recommend charm bracelets, and, in particular, Pandora for any guys out there looking for gifts for MRS / mother / women in their lives. And with a complementary range of other products (necklaces, rings, earrings, etc.) the possibility and point scoring opportunities are endless .... It 'a shame that the bank account is not!
